Serves, empowers, and advocates for seniors living in the Prince George area. Provides support, information, and referral through Seniors Info-Line on matters such as health, housing, transportation, abuse and neglect, financial issues, and social activities. Also provides information and referrals in person at the Seniors Resource Centre. Golden Age Socials offer free live entertainment and refreshments once per month; see website for details and schedule. Christmas Hampers are available for low-income seniors every year; applications are due in November. Also operates a Better at Home program in partnership with Prince George Native Friendship Centre; see listing under that agency. Hours are 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
