Free, drop-in support group offers mutual support and helps caregivers learn new skills to reduce stress; offered biweekly from 10 am to 11:30 am ever first and third Wednesday and Friday. Also provides one-to-one support, telephone support, circle of care support, monthly educational sessions, and access to tools and resources. Program offered in partnership with Family Caregivers of BC (FCBC); funded as a Family and Friends Caregiver Support program by United Way BC (UWBC) Healthy Aging Program.

Provides transportation for adults ages 55 and over living in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows; priority is for non-medical appointments.
Service is available within Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows for non-medical appointments; some drivers may take passengers further for medical appointments. Service includes help with vehicle entry/exit, and space for a personal attendant. Can accommodate service animals; may be able to accommodate a walker or wheelchair, depending on the vehicle. Service hours are 8:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday. A society membership is required for $35 per year or free for those age 90 or over. Members contact drivers directly to schedule rides. Booking is required a minimum of one day prior to a trip; booking may be requested anytime (or leave a message after hours). Booking of regular trips is permitted; multiple appointments may be permitted for some trips. 24 hours' notice minimum is required to cancel a trip. Cost for clients is $10 round trip or one way (within Maple Ridge or Pitt Meadows), plus parking fees; added time and distance may add to the cost. There are set charges for trips outside of the area; call drivers directly for information. Transportation is provided by volunteer drivers in personal cars. Passengers pay drivers directly. Service is delivered in English. Office hours are 9 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday.
