Provides health service to the three rural bands of Coldwater, Nooaitch, and Shackan. Services include home nursing, personal care, a foot care program, and newborn wellness checks. The Dinners at Home Program provides frozen meals to individuals in the community who are nutritionally at risk, shut-ins, and/or have health issues that prevent them from cooking their own meals; assessment required. Chronic Disease Self-Management Program workshops provide information, strategies, and techniques to help people with chronic conditions overcome challenges and maintain an active, fulfilling life. The Indigenous Diabetes Initiative Program offers early detection, healthy lifestyle education, and health services weekly over eight weeks. Offers social and recreational programming for youth ages 12 to 18; schedule available through Facebook and through monthly newsletter. Nonprofit society.
