Supports the emotional needs of vulnerable older adults ages 55 and up through various programs, including friendly visiting, assistance learning how to use local transit, caregiver support groups, and a monthly grief and loss group. Navigate offers help accessing information of any kind, assistance with forms or contracts, advocacy, and help applying for benefits; funded as a Navigation and Peer Support program by United Way BC (UWBC) Healthy Aging Program. Hours are 10 am to 2 pm Monday through Thursday. Nonprofit society.

Assists seniors age 65 and over who are in general good health, but require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, friendly visiting, and transportation to medical and other critical appointments. Some supports dependent on volunteer availability. Fees are charged for some services on a sliding scale based on income. Serves Campbell River. Program hours vary; office hours are from 10 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way British Columbia (UWBC).
