  Assists seniors age 65 and over with managing their day-to-day tasks, ensuring they maintain their independence while staying connected to their communities.

  Assists seniors age 65 and over with managing their day-to-day tasks, ensuring they maintain their independence while staying connected to their communities. Home supports are non-medical in nature and include light housekeeping, grocery shopping and delivery, light yard work, minor home repairs, transportation, snow removal, and friendly visits. Services are tailored to individual needs, with services offered on a sliding-scale rate based on income for their contracted home services. There are no fees for services delivered by volunteers. Serves Kelowna, Lake Country, and West Kelowna. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way British Columbia (UWBC).

Links to social activities and programs, physical activity, nutrition programs, grief and loss support, and more. The program aims to foster improved social connections, enhanced mental health, and reduced reliance on emergency medical interventions. Referrals are primarily by a health professional or social worker. Funded by BC Ministry of Health and managed by United Way BC's Healthy Aging programs.

  Provides a variety of affordable social and recreational opportunities for seniors age 55 and over in a welcoming environment. Activities are hosted by senior volunteers. For a nominal membership fee, participants can enjoy social activities organized by members and small associations that rent space for their activities. Member-run programs include bingo, bridge, mahjong, coffee club, and dancing. A monthly calendar of activities is available online. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.

  Supports seniors to secure stable housing that is appropriate and safe.

  Supports seniors to secure stable housing that is appropriate and safe. Does not directly provide housing, but offers support in accessing BC Housing resources, securing SAFER rent subsidies, and reviewing eligibility for government supports. The Navigator can also help clients with their housing search, tenant applications, review of lease terms, and home set-up. Depending on a client's situation, the program has limited funds to help with transitions such as moving costs, damage deposits, and first month's rent.
