Provides safe, secure, temporary shelter and support for women (cisgender and transgender) and gender non-conforming individuals with/ or without children, who are leaving violent relationships or are at-risk of abuse, threats, or violence.
Provides safe, secure, temporary shelter and support for women (cisgender and transgender) and gender non-conforming individuals with/ or without children, who are leaving violent relationships or are at-risk of abuse, threats, or violence. Accepts male children up to age 18. Accepts women from out of province. Gives women a safe and supportive living environment with access to daily living requirements such as clothing, toiletries, and nutritious meals. Helps women access financial assistance, legal aid, and affordable housing, and offers resource information to support women exploring their options and defining their goals. Personal identification (ID) is required, but will assist women to obtain it if necessary. Not wheelchair accessible. Accepts pets on a case by case basis. House is located in the Sooke area.

Provides free individual and group counselling for children and youth ages three to 18 who have been exposed to family violence.
Helps children and youth understand their emotions, discuss their trauma, develop a safety plan, recognize their strengths, increase their self-confidence, and understand that they are not responsible for the violence. Also provides individual and group support for the non-offending parent and caregivers. Serves Sooke and surrounding communities inclusive of Port Renfrew. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
