Delivers culturally appropriate shared health services to the people of N'Quatqua, Samahquam, Skatin, and Xa'xtsa (Douglas First Nation). Services incorporate land-based healing and traditional wellness. Traditional Healers, Spiritual Leaders, and Knowledge Keepers play key roles in all programming and administration. Health team members travel from the office in Mount Currie into outlying communities to ensure that SSHS members have access to health and wellness supports in their home communities. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm. Nonprofit society.
