The Compassionate Friends of Canada

Volunteers offer peer support and grief education to families who are grieving the death of a child from any cause or age, from infant to adult. Non-denominational self-help groups are located across Canada with some chapters offering videoconferencing. Local chapters provide monthly sharing meetings, telephone friends, newsletters, and brochures, and most have a resource library with books, CDs, and videos for parents and professionals. Also holds an annual candle lighting memorial service and other events.
