Provides programs and services for individuals and families affected by social issues, with an emphasis on the intervention and prevention of violence against women, youth, and children. Offers hygiene products and infant care items (such as diapers, formula, and wipes) to low-income individuals and families on an emergency or monthly basis. The annual Angel Tree Christmas program provides low-income families with the opportunity to provide their children with a personalized Christmas present. Applications can be picked up at the office and program locations during the month of November; due around December 1st. Serves Kitimat and Haisla Nation. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
