Provides community planning and development, cultural services, parks and recreation, bylaw enforcement, permits and licensing, public works, and emergency services. Coastal Animal Control Services of BC is contracted to administer and enforce regulations of Animal Control Bylaw in Ladysmith. Mayor: Deena Beeston. Councillors: Ray Gourlay, Amanda Jacobson, Duck Paterson, Tricia McKay, Marsh Stevens, and Jeff Virtanen. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
