Provides assessment and treatment of individuals and couples with sexual dysfunction and reproductive health issues ages 19 and older.
Provides assessment and treatment of individuals and couples with sexual dysfunction and reproductive health issues ages 19 and older. Concerns include difficulties with sexual interest, arousal, and orgasm/ejaculation; pain associated with sexual activity; problems in completing chosen sexual acts; sexual or reproductive difficulties associated with psychiatric or medical illness, surgery, or injury; and infertility resulting from ejaculatory disorders, dysparunia, and/or vaginismus impacting fertility. Staff include psychiatrists, sexual medicine physicians, and specialized nurses. Physician or nurse practitioner referral required. Serves BC and Yukon. Hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.

Provides pain assessment and treatment services, and addiction/chemical dependency consultation to patients admitted to Vancouver General Hospital, at the request of the doctor or any member of the health care team.
Patients and their significant others are counselled according to their specific needs during hospitalization, and referred to treatment agencies and self-help groups upon discharge. Also offers educational sessions to patients and their significant others, service providers, and community groups. Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.

Provides hospital-based dental care for patients ages 18 and up with serious medical problems that make it unsafe for them to seek care in a community setting.
Provides general dental care, and treatment of complex orofacial disorders and trauma. Services include restorations, dental surgery, orthodontics, facial pain, biopsies, cancer screening, dentures, root canal treatment, and crown and bridge fabrication. Referral is required from a physician or dentist. Hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.

Some areas and conditions include glaucoma, retina, internal eye, external diseases, eye cancers, and Graves' disease. Other services include internal and external eye surgery, vision rehabilitation, photo dynamic therapy, eye prosthetics, eye ultrasounds, a visual field laboratory, and a research laboratory. Also provides an outpatient urgent care clinic. Physician referral required. Hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.

Provides clinical care, patient education, and treatment for men in BC with prostate disease; men can self-refer or be referred by their doctor. Also educates health care professionals and leads research programs. The Prostate Cancer Supportive Care (PCSC) Program is a comprehensive survivorship program for men with prostate cancer, their partners, and their family from the time of initial diagnosis onward; accepts self referrals as well as doctor referrals. Program offers educational sessions and clinical services in the areas of primary treatment options; sexual health; nutrition; exercise; androgen deprivation therapy; pelvic floor physiotherapy for bladder and bowel concerns; counselling services; and metastatic disease management. Centre hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
