Vancouver Tenants Union (VTU)

A volunteer-run union that advocates systemically for the rights of tenants and the preservation of affordable housing. Offers information on the rental system in BC and renter rights on the website, as well as links to additional community organizations that provide support to renters and legal advocacy. Also provides practical and emotional support to tenants in dispute with their landlords. Nonprofit society.
