Vernon Methadone Clinic

Privately-run methadone clinic provides an outpatient, multidisciplinary, and supportive methadone or suboxone treatment program for people 18 and older who misuse heroin or other opiates. Offers assessment, long-term stabilization, and withdrawal management. Also provides opioid users who are already clients with free take home naloxone (Narcan) kits that can be used to reverse the effects of overdoses from opioids like fentanyl, heroin, methadone, morphine, and oxycodone. Services are free of charge to clients who have valid provincial medical insurance. Provides in-house intake by appointment; referral accepted from self or other. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 5 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; and 9 am to 1 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pm Tuesdays.
