Volunteer Firefighters' Association of BC (VFABC)

Membership association for the benefit of volunteer firefighters, providing support to volunteer firefighters and information about volunteer firefighting. Through the Volunteer Firefighters' Foundation Fund, grants funds to support member firefighters and their families in case of emergency such as a death in the family, severe illness, and a need to travel for health care. The fund is maintained through membership dues; see vfabc.ca/membership for more information and application form. Claims must be made through the local fire chief. Serves BC. Nonprofit society.
