Wholesome Meals on Wheels Association of Port Alberni BC

Delivers hot nutritious dinner meals using a crew of volunteer drivers. Hot meals are delivered at 4 pm from Tuesday to Saturday; additional chilled or frozen meals are available for delivery on Friday and Saturday. Dinners are made by a local restaurant and include an entree of meat, potato (or other starch), and vegetable, and a dessert. Cost for Island Health clients and veterans (as approved by Veterans Affairs Canada) is $6.25 per meal; for all others cost is $8 per meal. Serves Port Alberni and immediate area. Funded by Province of British Columbia Gaming, Vancouver Island Health Authority, and community donations. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
