Worker Solidarity Network
Network for workplace justice builds collective power through community organizing by and for precarious and non-unionized workers across BC. Know Your Rights resources provide information on employment rights; resources are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Punjabi, and Tagalog. Membership is free and includes access to workshops and trainings. Individuals can submit a Request Support form online to receive support from a legal advocate within two weeks, including representation in an Employment Standards Complaint; representation is based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. The Worker Solidarity Fund provides financial support from community donations to support workers who have lost their jobs for standing up for their rights at work, are contesting stolen wages, or are responding to racism and discrimination.
