Provides services to self-identified women, including cis women, trans women, and two-spirit people. The drop-in centre offers advocacy, workshops, and crisis intervention to women of the Downtown Eastside, as well as free clothing, phone, showers (available until 4 pm daily), toilets, mail service, other basic necessities, and programmed activities. Offers dinner from 6 pm to 7 pm daily. Meals are served in to-go containers. Offers specialized services including mental health advocacy and victim services. Housing Outreach Team provides services to women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, in particular those who have experienced violence or are at risk of violence. Helps women access rental housing in the private market, through support services such as referrals to housing options, information on other housing subsidies, housing search assistance, and utility bill supplements. Funded as a Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) by BC Housing. Chinese Senior Programming, Indigenous Programming, Cultural Programming are provided weekly. Hours are 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm Monday to Sundayy; closed on income assistance payment days.
