302 Columbia Drop-in Centre

Provides services to self-identified women, including cis women, trans women, and two-spirit people. The drop-in centre offers advocacy, workshops, and crisis intervention to women of the Downtown Eastside, as well as free clothing, phone, showers (available until 4 pm daily), toilets, mail service, other basic necessities, and programmed activities. Offers breakfast 10 am to 11 am daily except Wednesdays, hot lunches 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm daily (except cheque day), and snacks at 3 pm daily. Offers specialized services including mental health advocacy and victim services from 9 am to 4:30 pm daily, except 11 am to 4:30 pm Wednesdays. Housing Outreach Team provides services to women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, including those who have experienced violence or are at risk of violence. Helps women access rental housing in the private market, through support services such as referrals to housing options, information on other housing subsidies, housing search assistance, and utility bill supplements. Funded as a Homeless Prevention Program (HPP) by BC Housing. Chinese Senior Programming, Indigenous Programming, Cultural Programming are provided weekly. All services available on a drop-in basis. Drop-in hours are 9 am to 4:45 Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday to Sunday, and 11 am to 4:45 pm Wednesdays; closed on income assistance payment days.
