Oversees parks, recreational facilities, heritage sites, museums, and cultural facilities in Abbotsford. Indoor facilities include fitness centres, swimming pools, ice rinks, gymnasiums, multipurpose rooms, kitchens, games rooms, art, and dance. Outdoor amenities include track and sports fields, trails, playgrounds, and water parks. Operates the Abbotsford Exhibition Park (AEP), Abbotsford Recreation Centre (ARC), Centennial Outdoor Pool, Ledgeview Golf and Country Club, Matsqui Centennial Auditorium (MCA), Matsqui Recreation Centre (MRC), MSA Arena, as well as the Senior Activity Centre and Teen Centre. Offers a wide variety of recreational, social, and cultural programs, for all ages and abilities including children, youth, families, seniors, and people with disabilities. Offers financial assistance for recreation such as the Super Senior Annual Pass, Grade 5 Pass and Summer Pass for children and youth. Program hours vary. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
