Aboriginal Homeless Outreach Program

Supports individuals and families of Indigenous descent who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or difficult to house. Provides prevention, housing education, and advocacy services including support with housing applications, workshops on renter rights and responsibilities, support with basic apartment set up, and rent subsidies. Also supports with residential tenancy issues including landlord disputes, and eviction notices. Provides links to culturally appropriate services, as well as referrals to other support such as health care, counselling, and addiction recovery services. Serves Greater Victoria area. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by BC Housing.
