Aboriginal Infant Development Program (AIDP)

Family-centred program for Aboriginal children from birth to age six who have or are at risk of having a developmental delay. Supports parents in understanding and responding to their children’s needs. Services are delivered in culturally sensitive and meaningful ways. Home-based services include home visits, activity planning, developmental assessment, gross motor screening, physiotherapy, infant massage, and referral to other community services. Open referral. Funded by BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres, and Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
