Aboriginal Infant Development Program (AIDP) - Campbell River

Family-centred program for Aboriginal children ages five and younger who have or are at risk of having a developmental delay. Supports parents to understand and respond to children’s needs. Centres cultural safety in service delivery. Home-based services include home visits, activity planning, developmental assessment and family needs assessment, on- and off-reserve support, and referral to other community services. Referral accepted from self or other. Funded by the BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres and Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
