Screening and referral telephone line that provides adults access to free addiction care. Clients needing addiction treatment are connected with a nurse or trained clinician for assessment within 24 hours, and/or linked to a clinic for an in-person assessment. Services include same day or next-day clinical screening and assessment; placement in withdrawal management/detox bed according to medical need, and/or rapid connection to outpatient services; initiation of opioid agonist therapy (OAT) or anti-craving medications for alcohol use; and/or ongoing support throughout the withdrawal and recovery journey. Individuals can call or fill out an online form to request a call back from the team within 48 hours. Serves the Fraser Health region. Hours are 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, seven days a week.
