Addiction and Recovery Transitional Housing Program

Provides furnished studio units for men ages 19 and older who have recently completed a bed-based treatment program, are homeless or precariously housed, and are eligible for a BC Housing subsidy. Residents work to develop personalized recovery plans that guide their journey toward stability and independence. Residents must be able to manage activities of daily living (ADLs) such as cooking, cleaning, self-care, medication management, laundry, hygiene, grocery shopping, and paying monthly expenses. Client-focused, inclusive support services include transportation for weekly grocery shopping, recovery community meetings, clinical counselling, grief and loss support, parenting support, onsite medical and mental health services, and connections to community resources. Length of stay is 18 months. Referral accepted from self or other. Fees are charged at a fixed rate of $500 per month or 30% of monthly income. Wheelchair accessible.
