Addictions counsellors support self-identified women in Kamloops as they transition from provincial or federal institutions to the community. Counsellors work to support individual needs of each participant and assists to navigate potential barriers during reintegration. Participants are supported through the development of person-centered case plans, individual and group counselling opportunities, educational activities, prevention strategies, and workshops. Helps women build positive, safe, and inclusive community connections. Referral from an individual's parole officer. Offered in partnership with Correctional Service of Canada (CSC).
