Adult Outreach Team

Mobile adult outreach team travels throughout the Cowichan Valley providing support to individuals that are homeless and precariously housed (living in vehicles, camps or couch surfing). The outreach van is stocked daily with food, snacks, hygiene items, harm reduction supplies, donated clothing and more. The outreach meets people where they are - with compassion and without judgement - with the goal of helping them find ways to make their lives more stable. Services include referrals to emergency shelter, housing support, harm reduction supplies, and connections to health care and other community resources. Serves Chemainus, Cobble Hill, Cowichan Bay, Duncan, Ladysmith, Malahat, Mill Bay, and Shawnigan Lake. Hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by BC Housing.
