Offers aftercare support for single women and women with babies (under 24 months of age) who completed six months of a supported recovery program at Karis. Residents continue with programming while moving towards goals within their care plan. Support is offered in finding affordable, independent living. Women may be able to work or attend school part-time while participating. Counselling services are available but taper off during the first year. Aim is for residents to transfer into low-income housing, where home visit support from Karis Support Society would continue up to seven years. Program works with staff from Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Fees are charged and vary based on income. Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday.
