Administers and enforces regulations of Animal Control Bylaw in Sparwood. Issues include barking and noisy dogs, loose and unleashed dogs, neglected or stray dogs, injured dogs, impounded dogs, attacking or aggressive dogs, and dogs kept outside without appropriate shelter. All dogs require a license; licenses can be purchased at the District Municipal Office. Also provides education resources for wildlife management. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
