Anscomb Outpatient Services
Works with families to evaluate and plan treatment for Vancouver Island children and youth who are experiencing serious and complex psychiatric challenges; goal is to increase a child or youth's mental health and functioning at home, at school, and within the community. Mood Anxiety and Psychosis (MAP) Team provides specialized services for children and youth up to and including age 18, who are having significant challenges in their daily functioning due to complex mood, anxiety, and/or psychotic conditions. The Neurodevelopment Team provides specialized services for children and youth up to and including age 18, who are having significant challenges in their daily functioning due to complex mental health and behavioural challenges secondary to neurodevelopmental impairments, such as challenges along the autism spectrum, fetal alcohol, and other related genetically based impairments. Referral required from a family physician, pediatrician, or mental health clinician. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
