Ask an Advocate

Provides basic, clear online information about provincial and federal disability benefits, income assistance and other income support programs, as well as tenancy, in order to empower people to advocate for themselves. Website contains frequently asked questions, quick reference guides, fact sheets, forms, and links to other services and resources. Users can email an advocate or use the LiveChat feature on the website to receive information that might help meet their needs. Also provides training to community service providers who deal with issues related to benefits and tenancy. Serves BC. Administrative hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. LiveChat hours are 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
