A:yelexw Recovery Homes

A voluntary recovery program open to Indigenous people age 19 and over in the Fraser Region who have already detoxed and are wanting to live a healthier lifestyle. Up to 22 beds are available between the men's home and the women's home; both are drug- and alcohol-free, and are staffed 24 hours a day. Participants can stay for up to one year. Referral is by an alcohol and drug counsellor or professional service provider. All referrals go through referral coordination services through Fraser Health. Intake hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Wednesday; office hours are 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Funded as a Stabilization and Transitional Living Residence (STLR) by Fraser Health. Recovery house is registered with the Assisted Living Registry, Ministry of Health.
