Operates dispatch centres and ambulance service for BC. Dispatch centres are staffed by trained Emergency Medical Call Takers and Dispatchers and clinicians serve as the first point of contact in medical emergencies. Staff perform triage, initiate life-saving interventions over the phone, and also deploy ambulances. Ambulance service transports sick and injured patients to health facilities. BC Ambulance bill payment (http://www.bcehs.ca/about/billing/how-to-pay-your-ambulance-bill) can be done by phone, mail, in person, or online. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
