BC Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) Program

Provides financial assistance to help people impacted by a disaster cope with the cost of repairs and recovery from uninsurable disaster-related property damage, when an event has been declared eligible. Disasters such as flooding, landslides, mudslides, or ice jams may be eligible for financial assistance to replace items essential to a home, livelihood, or community service. Available to qualifying homeowners, residential tenants, small businesses, farm owners, charitable organizations, and local government bodies.
