Service Description

Provides free legal services to people who need help with a provincial human rights complaint. Also provides education and workshops to help people understand their rights and responsibilities under BC's Human Rights Code. The Clinic's Inquiry Line provides basic information to callers every weekday from 8:30 am to 4 pm. The Short Service Clinic offers half-hour appointments with a lawyer or advocate on Mondays and Wednesdays; information on booking an appointment is available online. Legal Services may include summary advice, one to two hours of legal assistance, or legal representation. Application forms are available online; applications can be sent to intakeBCHRC@clasbc.net
