Service Description

Dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm, and wild animals in BC. Services and programs include cruelty investigations and humane education. Takes in surrendered animals and stray dogs, cats, and domestic small pets. Provides animal control services, including sheltering, adoptions, and emergency rescue and treatment, under contract to City of Burnaby; see municipal record for details. Animal adoption and viewing hours are 12 noon to 5 pm Monday to Friday and 12 noon to 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays. Office hours are 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am to 5 pm Saturdays and Sundays; after-hours emergency line hours are 5 pm to 12 midnight nightly.
