Dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm, and wild animals in BC. Services and programs include cruelty investigations, sheltering and adoptions, emergency rescue and treatment, children's camps/programs, humane education, and addvocacy. Takes surrendered animals. Hours of operation are 12 noon to 4:30 pm Tuesday to Saturday. Serves Alert Bay, Campbell River, Cortes Island, Gold River, Port Hardy, Port McNeill, Quadra Island, Sayward, Sointula, and Tahsis.
