Service Description
Dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm, and wild animals in BC. Services and programs include cruelty investigations, sheltering and adoptions, emergency rescue and treatment, municipal animal control (see municipal listing for details), children's camps/programs, humane education, and advocacy. Takes in surrendered animals, and stray dogs, cats, and domestic small pets. Shelter and adoption hours are 12 noon to 4:30 pm Tuesday to Saturday. Serves Chemainus, Cobble Hill, Cowichan Bay, Crofton, Duncan, Ladysmith, Mill Bay, Shawnigan Lake.
