Dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm, and wild animals in BC. Services and programs include cruelty investigations, sheltering and adoptions, emergency rescue and treatment, low-income spay/neuter program, municipal animal control (see municipal listing for details), humane education, and advocacy. Shelter and animal adoption hours are 1 pm to 4 pm Tuesday to Sunday. Serves Canal Flats, Cranbrook, Edgewater, Elkford, Elko, Fairmont Hot Springs, Invermere, Jaffray, Kimberley, Radium Hot Springs, Skookumchuck, Wasa, Windermere.
