Service Description
Dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm, and wild animals in BC. Services and programs include cruelty investigations, sheltering and adoptions, emergency rescue and treatment, low-income spay/neuter program, humane education, and advocacy. Hours are 12 noon to 4 pm Tuesday to Saturday. Serves Nelson and area, including Balfour, Crawford Bay, Crescent Valley, Kaslo, Kootenay Bay, Meadow Creek, Nakusp, New Denver, Riondel, Salmo, Silverton, Slocan, Winlaw, and Ymir.
