Dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm, and wild animals in BC. Services and programs include cruelty investigations, sheltering and adoptions, emergency rescue and treatment, low-income spay/neuter program, humane education, and advocacy. Takes surrendered animals, and stray cats and domestic small pets. Hours are 12 noon to 4 pm Thursday to Saturday and 11 am to 3 pm Sundays and Mondays. Serves Barkerville, McLeese Lake, Nazko, Quesnel, and Wells.
