Dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm, and wild animals in BC. Services and programs include cruelty investigations, sheltering and adoptions, emergency rescue and treatment, municipal kenneling (see municipal record for details), children's camps/programs, humane education, and advocacy. Takes surrendered animals and stray dogs, cats, and domestic small pets. Adoption and viewing hours are 12 noon to 3 pm Tuesday to Sunday. Office hours are 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday to Sunday and Mondays by appointment. After-hours emergency line hours are 5 pm to 12 midnight nightly.
