Service Description

Dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm, and wild animals in BC. Services and programs include cruelty investigations, sheltering and adoptions, emergency rescue and treatment, low-income spay/neuter program, humane education, and advocacy. Takes surrendered animals, stray cats, and stray domestic small pets. Shelter hours are 11 am to 3 pm Tuesday to Saturday. Serves 150 Mile House, Alexis Creek, Alkali Lake, Anahim Lake, Bella Coola, Hanceville/Big Creek and Big Lake, Horsefly, Lac La Hache, Likely, McLeese Lake, Riske Creek, and Williams Lake.
