Assists seniors age 65 and over who are in general good health, but require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, friendly visits, light yard work, and transportation for errands (details below). Serves Abbotsford. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income; subsidies may be available. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way British Columbia (UWBC).

Also provides transportation to seniors ages 65 and over in Abbotsford for non-medical appointments, grocery shopping, or other errands. Individuals must be a resident of Abbotsford. Can accommodate a walker, depending on vehicle. Serves Abbotsford. Service hours 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, except for statutory holidays. Transportation is provided by volunteers and based on volunteer availability. Advanced booking is required, and transportation is provided Monday to Friday. Notice is required as soon as possible to cancel a trip. Pre-registration is required through the Better At Home program. Cost to client is sliding scale based on income, with subsidy available; clients are invoiced monthly. Service provided in English; interpretation service is available.
