Assists older adults ages 65 and over who require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include friendly visiting, transportation to medical appointments, light housekeeping, and assisted grocery shopping. Fees are applied to housekeeping services based on income, with subsidized funding available to those who qualify. Registration is required and services are based on volunteer availability and funding. Program hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Wednesday. Serves Creston Valley, which includes Arrow Lake, Canyon, Creston, Erickson, Lakeview, Lister, West Creston, and Wynndel. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way of BC (UWBC).
