Assists seniors age 65 and over who are in general good health, but require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, friendly visits, and yard work. Serves residents of Newton. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. Program hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Service is in English. May offer housekeeping service in Hindi or Punjabi depending on staff availability. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way British Columbia (UWBC).

Also provides transportation for seniors ages 65 and over living in Cloverdale, and Surrey's Fleetwood, Guildford, Newton, and Whalley communities. Service coverage is available throughout Surrey and White Rock for appointments and shopping. The individual client service is pick-up and drop-off only as it does not include accompaniment. Can accommodate walkers. Service hours and hours to book a trip are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Booking must be made three to four working days in advance. Clients can book multiple appointments in advance. 24 hours notice is required to cancel a trip. Pre-registration is required and completed during the intake process; first by phone then a home visit. Services may either be free or based on a sliding scale. If clients need to leave the Surrey/White Rock area there is an additional cost of .47 cents/km. Clients are invoiced for fees. Transportation provided by volunteer drivers. Service provided in English. The waitlist to access the service is approximately one month after registration. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
