Helps seniors ages 65 and over with simple daily tasks so that they can continue to live independently in their own homes and remain connected to their communities. Provides a range of non-medical home support services including light housekeeping, assisted shopping, friendly visits, and accompaniment. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income; subsidies may be available. Accepts self-referrals; intake form available online. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday; call in advance for appointment. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way BC.
