Assists seniors ages 65 and over who are in general good health, but require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include navigation and peer support, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, friendly visits, and transportation to medical appointments. Transportation, friendly visits, and navigation and peer support services are offered free of charge by volunteers; housekeeping services offered on a sliding scale based on income. Serves Colwood and Langford. Program hours vary; office hours are 8 am to 3:30 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way BC.
