Bridge Transitional Housing for Women

Low-barrier, 12-bed second-stage transitional housing for self-identified women in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside; no children permitted. Staffed 24 hours a day. ID is required, but will accept transgender women whose ID reads as male, as long as the individual identifies as a woman. Services include accompaniment, activity groups, advocacy, a community kitchen, emotional support, group support for women and information and referral. Maximum stay is six months. Allows small pets (under 10 pounds). Wheelchair accessible. Damage deposit and rent charged. Funded by BC Housing.
