Canadian Citizenship Preparation
Free 10-week course that helps individuals preparing to become Canadian citizens understand the topics of the 'Discover Canada' guide covering Canadian culture, history, geography, politics, and the rights and responsibilities of citizenship. Participants also learn about civic engagement; volunteering; voting; helping your neighbours and community; and serving on a board, and attending community or council meetings. Course instruction utilizes experiential activities and is paced to support clients with CLB Levels 4-6. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
