A mobile crisis response unit (composed of a police officer and a mental health care professional) that responds to Fort St John residents who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The Car 60 team can be dispatched by calling 911 or the Fort Saint John RCMP non-emergency line. Service is provided in English; other languages may be available depending on staffing. Interpretation services are available for free. Utilized by mental health care professionals and police officers who refer to the team to provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and/or victim services. Partnership program between Northern Health and Fort Saint John RCMP. Hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
